About the role
Working directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Revenue Management to negotiate pricing and optimize production to positively impact hotel revenues.
Responsibilities
- Builds relationships thru proactive account solicitation and responsive sales opportunities; Activities could include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, site inspections, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides accurate & comprehensive reporting when needed.
- Uses Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue.
- Understands competitors’ strengths/ weaknesses, current economic trends, and supply/demand for midtown.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (I.E., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence, etc.).
- Achieves personal sales goals.
- Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, and business concerns, offering better business solutions.
