About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100, seeks a junior to mid-level Associate for our Corporate Finance Practice. The associate will work with clients of all sizes across diverse industries, collaborating with GT attorneys on our global platform.
Responsibilities
- Represent lenders and/or borrowers in debt finance transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and private credit facilities (asset-based financing experience is a plus).
- Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, debt commitment letters, security agreements, and closing deliverables such as secretary’s certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits.
- Manage deal workflows, interact directly with clients, and take ownership of work product.
- Collaborate with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies (experience in this area is beneficial).
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in finance or corporate law, with a focus on debt finance transactions.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission.
- Strong academic background and superior drafting skills.
- Diligent, proactive, team-oriented, and willing to take on significant responsibility.

Pay
Expected pay range: $235,000–$390,000 per year. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
