Boston - Finance Associate (Mid-to-Senior Level)

About the role

Reed Smith’s Boston office is seeking a mid-level to senior-level associate to join the Financial Industry Group (Finance), specifically the Venture Debt & Growth Financing practice. The role focuses on representing banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions on the lender side in commercial finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security and collateral documentation, intercreditor agreements, and closing documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial finance transactions, specifically on the lender side.
• Active member of the Massachusetts bar.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with borrowers in the technology, life sciences, fintech, frontier tech, and digital assets sectors (strongly preferred).
• Cross-border transaction experience (a plus).

Pay

$235,000 - $435,000. This range represents the presently anticipated low and high end for this position. Actual pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to location and experience.
