Boston – Debt Financing Associate (Mid-Level)

Job Requirements

• JD 2021 - 2022
• Previous experience at a BigLaw firm or recognized debt finance boutique required.
• Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or New York State bar.
• Eagerness to work with tech and life sciences companies and venture funds.
• Demonstrated experience in representing either lenders or borrowers in debt finance transactions, including venture debt, recurring revenue loans, asset-based lending, fund finance, and other debt financings for both private and public companies.
• Experience with both bilateral and syndicated loan structures a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of direct experience in structuring and negotiating commercial loan facilities and other secured transactions.
• Motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attitude.
• Comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
