Finance Associate - Mid to Senior-Level

About the role

Amidst the complexities of the real estate landscape, Arnold & Porter’s Real Estate Practice Group seeks a dynamic and experienced attorney to join our New York office. Our ideal candidate will bring at least 3+ years of experience in managing various aspects of mortgage and mezzanine financings, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and joint venture deals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex real estate transactions, including but not limited to lender and borrower side mortgage and mezzanine financings, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and joint venture deals.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions for our clients' real estate matters.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the Real Estate Practice Group through your expertise and leadership.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Exceptional business acumen and experience working directly with clients.
• Excellent academic credentials and references.
• Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in New York.

Qualifications

• JD 2023 - 2017+
• Mid-level to senior associate level

Skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in real estate finance and transactional law.

Pay

The salary range for this position in New York is $260,000 to $435,000, commensurate with experience.
