Mid to Senior Associate - Corporate Finance

About the role

Bernstein Shur is seeking a mid-level associate (3-5+ years’ experience) to join its Business Law Practice Group, focusing on capital markets transactions, including securitization, structured finance, and secured transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of asset finance and securitization transactions.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents, including securitization agreements and other financing instruments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bankruptcy, tax, corporate, and regulatory attorneys, to support complex financings.
• Manage sophisticated client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: JD
• Certifications: Admission in NY, ME and/or NH
• Minimum Experience: Minimum 4+ years of corporate finance transactions experience: securitization, structured finance, secured transactions. Direct and applicable law firm experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex financing structures.
