Senior Associate - Corporate Finance
What You Will Do
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Manage and execute month end, quarter end, and year end close processes.
- Perform and review reconciliation and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Support financial reporting and variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of GL accounts in line with company policies.
- Aid in Statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations across global entities.
- Understand financial policies and control matrices.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliation process for multiple international banks.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting activities.
What You Will Need
- BCom/MCom with relevant experience
- MBA Finance with relevant experience
- CA/ICWA/CS Intermediate with internship preferred
- 3 to 5 years of overall accounting and reporting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GL processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Willingness to take on ad hoc requests/special projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and meet tight deadlines
What Would Be Nice to Have
- PeopleSoft experience
- US GAAP/IFRS knowledge
- Agile work hours/capacity
