About the role
We are searching for a senior associate to join our Corporate group in our Ann Arbor office.
Responsibilities
- Counseling founders, executives, and VCs
- Representing companies and investors in venture financing, growth equity, and M&A transactions
- Making significant client contact daily
- Interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds
Requirements
- JD 2017-2019
- Previous large law firm experience required
- Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Michigan
- Experience working with emerging growth companies and funds
- Experience in M&A, venture capital financings, and/or growth equity financing transactions
Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable with client interaction and networking
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $420,000 - $445,000
