Corporate Accountant

Job Description

Preparation and posting of accrual based journal entries to record assets, liabilities, and revenue/expense restatements for the financial statements in the University accounting system (Banner). Process payments between University departments and/or other State agencies. Reconciling purchase card transactions and cash balances in the University and State accounting systems.

Salary & Benefits

$52,105-67,736 - Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• One year related work experience
• Three plus years of accounting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay & Schedule

Work week is 37.5 hrs. Holidays – Employees receive 13 Paid Holidays. Annual and Sick Leave – Classified Staff, Non-Classified Staff and 12-month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year. Employee Leave.
