Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the financial month-end close process
  • Review and reconcile designated General Ledger accounts and activity
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable for corporate or payroll-related expenses
  • Investigate and report on discrepancies, communicating effectively and promptly
  • Complete bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now Software as needed
  • Assist with employee benefits administration and enrollment
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the payroll system
  • Support day-to-day payroll and accounting functions
  • Assist with special accounting or finance projects as assigned
  • Support internal and external audit requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar or adjacent work
  • Previous ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS system experience preferred
  • Previous NetSuite (ERP) system experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Suite experience with expertise in Excel spreadsheets
  • High level of confidentiality for sensitive information
  • Extremely accurate and detail-oriented
  • Highly developed orientation to detail
  • Customer service mindset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
