Schedule

Mon‑Fri 8 a.m.–10 a.m., Sat 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (Part‑time: 16.5 hours per week)

Pay

Hourly rate: $17.50 – $19.00 (paid training). Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 for full‑time hires, $500 for part‑time hires.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22 + with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Help individuals attend medical appointments, manage banking, and participate in community activities and outings.
• Administer medications and follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and medical guidelines.
• Safely evacuate individuals from the home in emergencies.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with agency policies and DDS regulations.
• Participate in paid new‑employee orientation, CPR/First Aid, PABC, defensive driving, Medication Administration Program (MAP), and person‑specific training.

Requirements

• Must be 21 + years old with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities described and demonstrate the ability to perform essential job functions.
