About the role

This open position is in a highly behavioral residential home setting. We are seeking candidates with experience working with behavioral individuals.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
• Assist with medical appointments, banking, community outings, and activities.
• Administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and follow medical guidelines.
• Safely evacuate individuals from the home in the event of an emergency.
• Maintain certifications, handle job-related duties in compliance with Agency policies, and follow all DDS regulations/policies.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.

$17.50-$19.00
