About the role

This open position is in a highly behavioral residential home setting. We are seeking candidates with experience working with behavioral individuals. Location: Webster, MA.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities to empower them to be as active in their lives as possible.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
• Assist individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and attend outings.
• Administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and follow medical guidelines.
• Ensure safe evacuation of individuals from the home in emergencies.
• Maintain certifications and comply with Agency policies and DDS regulations/policies.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
