We have a great opportunity for a candidate who is detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in their work as an Engraving Etcher— no prior experience required, as we provide on-the-job training. Hours for this position are M–F, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. In this role you will - Accurately measure and add chemicals to etching baths and sumps according to established specificationsMonitor chemical levels and maintain optimal bath conditions for copper plate etchingEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols when handling chemical substancesAssist with routine preventative maintenance proceduresClean and maintain mechanical devices and hardware componentsSupport the replacement of non-precision mechanical equipment as neededInspect etched products for defects and verify conformance to process specificationsIdentify and report any quality issues or process deviationsMaintain detailed records of chemical additions and process parametersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all OSHA and environmental regulations Requirements Required Skills Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn etching equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.At least 1 year experience operating etching tank preferredProven mechanical aptitude
