Coordinator, Sustainability Of Federal Programs - 250 Day

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintains Division-wide compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the operation of federal programs for and education of students.
• Gathers and reviews evidentiary documents, interviews personnel, and writes narratives in response to stakeholders’ complaints.
• Compiles the Annual Plan for special populations (i.e., English Learners, Economically Disadvantaged, Preschool, and Gifted Students) in accordance with State and Federal requirements.
• Works with supervisor, administrators, specialists, and building level staff to design, implement, and evaluate effective school-wide discipline programs.
• Affords assistance in the evaluation and implementation of federal programs.
• Prepares project updates, amendments, and addendums and submits them to the proper agencies.
• Collaborates with Supervisors in monitoring the performance of the needs assessments of federal grant plans.
• Coordinates Division, state, and federal and state compliance plans, policies, and procedures for federal programs to ensure Division compliance.
• Completes and monitors the implementation of projects as outlined by Division timelines.
• Provides professional learning opportunities to school and central office personnel around the sustainability of federal programs.
• Attends all federal and state program training conferences as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and unquestionable integrity.

• Knowledge of principles and practices of public-school administration, administrative methods and techniques, and trends in public school education.
• Demonstrate knowledge of federal law and state regulations regarding federal programs.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with community and leaders, staff, and the general public.

Education Requirement

Master's Degree in supervision, administration, curriculum, and evaluation of instruction.

Work Experience Requirement

Ten years teaching experience; administrative or supervisory experience.
