Coordinator, Parent and Family Philanthropy
About the role
The Coordinator of Parent & Family Philanthropy supports the development and implementation of fundraising strategies for the Fordham University's Parent & Family Philanthropy team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development for Parent & Family Philanthropy, this position focuses on fostering a welcoming environment for all families, enhancing their philanthropic support, and aligning with the University's mission.
Responsibilities
- Volunteer management and oversight of Fordham’s Parents’ Leadership Council
- Elevate parent leadership philanthropy through strategic and regional programming
- Prepare, plan, and execute parent and family philanthropy events
- Create fundraising communications that align with Jesuit values
- Facilitate and coordinate regular communications with parents
- Support annual giving strategies and donor-centric stewardship
- Provide administrative/budget support and track expenses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Proven track record of attention to detail and efficient task management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and tools

Pay
$67,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with some travel and evening/weekend work required.
