About the role
Distribution System Coordinators provide support to all various areas of distribution operations including shipping, receiving and inventory control. They coordinate work activities of distribution support specialists to efficiently achieve production demands.
Responsibilities
- Audit locations to ensure correct inventory data
- Assist Operations in monitoring voice selection
- Advise inventory manager of Team Member conduct and job performance
- Assist in the development of Inventory Team Members; including training and cross-training other Team Members
- Assist in cycle counting
- Meet or exceed the requirements of customers at all times
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation provides a complete, accurate record of production activities and inventory on hand
- Assist in the administration of Inventory control functions
- Ensure drop reselects are completed for load departure
- Assign tasks to other departments and oversee the completion of the daily workload
- Organize the storage and flow of inventory within the warehouse
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of product
- Flexibility in scheduling with the availability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary
- HBC: Oversee and perform all aspects to the cigarette stamping machine
Requirements
- 0 to 6 months experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience preferred
- 2+ years experience in a unionized distribution center environment preferred
- 2 or more years experience in a distribution center environment preferred
- Working knowledge of distribution center system hardware and software preferred
Pay
$17.90 – $23.85 per hour
