Coordinator Imaging Technologist

About the Role

As the Imaging Coordinator at Ogden Regional Medical Center, you will assist with day-to-day patient care and workflow by overseeing technologists and students, scheduling staff, and performing a wide range of radiologic procedures. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and medical staff, promote departmental growth, and supervise CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology staffing. Responsibilities include engaging and educating the care team through monthly staff meetings, as well as assisting in hiring, coaching, and discipline. You will collaborate closely with coordinators across all imaging areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technologists and students, ensuring efficient patient care and workflow.
• Perform all functions of a staff radiologic technologist, including a wide range of imaging procedures.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and medical staff.
• Interpret information to support departmental development and growth.
• Supervise CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology staffing.
• Engage and educate the care team through monthly staff meetings.
• Assist in hiring, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
• Collaborate with coordinators in all imaging areas for input on CT, Ultrasound, and Radiography.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification as a Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
