About the role
Work independently with other departments in a wide variety of circumstances to analyze and compile accurate, detailed reports using defined processes and meet established timelines.
Responsibilities
- Compile metric data from various sources to develop and track key performance indicators and benchmarks.
- Facilitate data conversions from district information systems to other databases for reporting and compliance.
- Identify and resolve data integrity problems, monitor databases for consistency, and ensure standardization of student data.
- Spot-check student data for compliance and create scripts for various data reports.
- Plan, design, and manipulate databases for storage and dissemination of dual credit student data.
- Organize information and data concepts into presentations for diverse audiences.
- Utilize problem-solving to identify issues and assist in creating action plans, decision-making, and strategy development.
- Maintain documents, files, and records to provide up-to-date references.
- Maintain backup and recovery of databases.
- Participate in workshops, meetings, committees, seminars, and conferences to convey and gather information on program initiatives.
- Complete ad hoc assignments to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in instructional technology, mathematics, or a directly related field (required).
- Master’s Degree in instructional technology, mathematics, or a directly related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of direct experience (preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of office equipment and software applications, including Power BI, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspaces.
- Ability to perform calculations such as interest, percentages, averages, and complex mathematical concepts (e.g., probability, statistical inference).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., V-lookup, pivot tables, graphs/charts, conditional formatting).
- Strong proficiency in creating compelling presentations using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated experience fostering effective communication and cooperation to achieve shared goals.
Pay
Minimum Salary: $65,196.00
Median Salary: $79,507.00
