Responsibilities
- Develop, write, coordinate, and present content for community partners
- Coordinate and develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and status reports
- Oversee and monitor the progress and successful completion of designated school improvement initiative, program, and project deliverables
- Serve as the school improvement liaison to various departments
- Market initiatives and events through traditional and nontraditional methods
- Prepare and present frequent updates, presentations, executive summaries, and other documents
- Develop and maintain an electronic library of resources
- Attend districtwide and interdepartmental meetings
- Remain abreast of developments and research in the field of school improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, with 5+ years of directly related experience preferred
- 5+ years of directly related experience
- Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level assigned
- Experience in corporate or nonprofit environments with success in developing and coordinating project plans
- Experience in working with the public and communicational media in providing information and interpreting programs
- A working knowledge of local media, schools, and community issues
- Demonstrated understanding of the impact of materials on the experience of those receiving them and mindfulness of inclusive principles in the production of materials
- Ability to work nontraditional hours including after school, evenings, and some Saturdays
