Coordinator for Student Accountability
Summary of Job Duties
The Coordinator for Student Accountability leads all outreach, education, conflict resolution, and informal resolution efforts on behalf of the Office of Student Accountability. This position manages OSA-affiliated courses and sanctioning programs, coordinates New Student Orientation involvement, and provides conflict resolution and community conflict support for students. The Coordinator also supervises the graduate teaching assistant and supports OSA with additional duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, political science, or another related field from an accredited institution of higher education
- Applicable Equivalencies May Be Considered For The Above Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional work experience in higher education
- Possess at least basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, social work, or another related field from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least one year of experience working in or with a student conduct or similar professional area in higher education

- Knowledge of computers and general software applications

- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports

- Display decisiveness in difficult situations and make decisions in line with the mission and vision of the Office of Student Accountability based on available evidence
Additional Information
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
