Position Summary
The Coordinator, Fan Development & Group Sales is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that grow brand awareness, fan interest, and engagement to drive group sales revenue for the Seattle Torrent. This role supports fan acquisition and retention efforts by creating targeted campaigns, strengthening community connections, and contributing to meaningful group experiences. Working closely with ticketing and business operations, the coordinator helps convert engagement into measurable sales impact.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage community partnerships to create meaningful in-game and non-game-day engagement opportunities that support fan development and group sales.
- Design and execute group sales initiatives and in-arena activations with community partners, including pre-game events, anthem experiences, intermission activities, and other fan-focused programs.
- Create and implement community-based marketing strategies (events, promotions, contests, and ticket programs) to drive group ticket sales and fan acquisition.
- Manage and support group sales opportunities, including coordinating in-game experiences tied to group attendance.
- Collaborate with social media, Content, Fan Experience, and Game Presentation teams to align community activations with theme nights, unity initiatives, and content capture.
- Support the growth of the team's marketing and fan database by integrating data capture and registration opportunities into community and group activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with local sports organizations and teams to explore cross-promotion and community collaboration opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, or sports/entertainment.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, community relations, event activation, sales support, or fan engagement (sports or entertainment preferred).
- Highly interested in fan development, community engagement, and group ticket sales.
- Ability to represent the team and league professionally in community-facing settings.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and home games as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in community relations, fan engagement, or group sales in a professional or collegiate sports setting.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and ticketing systems.
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to marketing or sales campaigns that produced measurable results.

- Flexibility & Travel Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement and be available for all home games in the Seattle, Washington market, including evenings and weekends.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00 USD.
Schedule
This position is based in the United States.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
The PWHL does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
