About the role

Our Communications and Media Relations team is essential for shaping the Firm’s public image and managing its interactions with the media. The team crafts and disseminates press releases, media statements and other communications to highlight the Firm’s achievements, legal victories and superb insights.

We are seeking a talented and diligent Coordinator, Communications - Content Production to join our Content Production team, which sits within the broader Global Communications function. The Coordinator will play a central role in managing and executing video and audio projects for both internal communications and external Firm marketing from initial planning through delivery and archiving.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive project tracking, ensuring active projects are accurately monitored throughout their lifecycle and that team hours are properly recorded.
  • Manage the project archive spreadsheet, ensuring that key data is thoroughly catalogued.
  • Proactively identify and resolve production challenges or risks to keep projects on track, escalating when needed.
  • Lead Content Production team check-in meetings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed filming schedules for global video shoots, ensuring all participants are scheduled and filmed within deadlines.
  • Coordinate logistics for both in-person and remote video shoots, including arranging equipment transportation, liaising and training local AV/IT teams, and reserving rooms for filming.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication across the board.
  • Assist producer and videographer with in-person and remote video shoots.
  • Create stringouts of footage and generate transcripts as needed.
  • Lead the quality control (QC) process for all video content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain project assets from initial filming through to archiving, ensuring all folders are properly organized, files are backed up to both local and remote servers, and file duplication is prevented.
  • Work with IT team as needed to update automated back-up protocols.
  • Lead the implementation of new tools and workflows by preparing business cases, shepherding vendors through risk assessment, and collaborating with technology teams and other Firm stakeholders to deploy solutions.
  • Manage ongoing support of existing platforms and technologies.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of video production experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment
  • Firm understanding of the video production and post-production process
  • Strong project management experience (PMP certification a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to prioritize among competing priorities and multi-task across a broad spectrum of collaborators
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills across a range of tasks and audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a proactive team player and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently, as well as on a team to meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management software a plus
  • Teleprompter experience a plus
  • A sense of humor and a positive attitude

Location and Reporting

This is a full-time role based in New York, New York. This role reports to the Associate Director of Content Production.

Pay

Compensation range - $73,600 - $85,000
