Introduction

The estimated hourly wage for this role is $20.55 - $28.78. Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Central Sterile Coordinator, you will ensure surgical instruments and supplies are expertly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies
• Organizing instruments and equipment based on surgery schedules and special case needs
• Monitoring sterilization processes and equipment performance, keeping accurate records, and promptly reporting any issues
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked workspace that supports the team and upholds the highest infection control standards
• Training and supporting team members to work safely, follow best practices, and care for every patient like family

Qualifications required:

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a Central Sterile Supply Certification Program (examples: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (IAHCSMM); Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST))
• Minimum one to two years’ experience as a Central Sterile Technician
• Demonstrated leadership experience
