Coordinator, Bakery - Warehouse - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Coordinator, Bakery Warehouse, to join our team at our Alsip, IL bakery. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be accountable for supporting shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate material handling, maintaining organized freezer/cooler storage, and coordinating inbound and outbound product flow to support efficient production and order fulfillment.

Shift & Schedule

Shift: 2nd
Hours: 5:45PM – 2:15AM
Weekend availability: Required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20 – $21

Core Accountabilities

• Cookout shipping, receiving, and warehouse material flow to support production needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and SAP entries for inbound and outbound materials
• Ensure organized freezer, cooler, and warehouse storage conditions
• Pick, stage, and load manufacturing orders and outbound shipments
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and communicate discrepancies
• Support food-safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across warehouse operations
• Build effective working relationships across production, logistics, and warehouse teams

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of related warehouse or materials-handling experience
• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials accurately
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Ability to work in cold environments (freezer/cooler)
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience (sit-down or other powered equipment)
• Experience in food industry warehouse operations
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong organization skills with accuracy in documentation
• Experience supporting shipping, receiving, or inventory control
