Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed
- Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures
- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks
- Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment
- Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager
Qualifications
- Experience as a short-order cook is helpful
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
