Cook (part-time 5am-12:30pm)

Job Summary

Westerwood is actively seeking a Part-Time 5am-12:30pm Cook to join their exceptional team and community. This position requires Sunday-Saturday availability.

Job Duties

• Prepares all soups, stocks, sauces, boils, braises and roasts items according to procedures
• Prepares the preparation of all food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders
• Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours assuring that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved
• Determines and obtains the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus

Qualifications

• Preference to candidates with experience as a Cook in all stations of hotel, institutional or restaurant operations
• Ability to work weekends
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic
• Ability to understand measurements and conversions
