Part time Cook / Long Term Care / 5am-1pm

Responsibilities

• Aids in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
• Stores items properly after receiving them.
• Uses proper food handling techniques.
• Reviews menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals.
• Serves diets properly, accurately, and attractively as planned using proper portions and special diet items.
• Fulfills standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities to meet all service requirements.
• Tests and tastes foods of all consistencies for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature, and adjusts if necessary.
• Supervises when needed.

Requirements

• Healthcare food service experience preferred, not required.
• Banquet/Catering experience is preferred, not required.

Pay

$16-$20 per hour

Schedule

12pm-8pm - 5 days a week
