Part time Cook / Long Term Care / 5am-1pm

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
• Performs tasks such as dating, labeling, and storing items correctly.
• Utilizes proper food handling techniques.
• Reviews menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals.
• Serves diets according to plans, ensuring accuracy and attractiveness.
• Prepares sufficient quantities of meals to meet all service requirements.
• Fulfills standardized recipes and special diet orders, adjusting as necessary.
• Tests and tastes foods of various consistencies to ensure proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature.
• Supervises when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service is preferred, though not required.
• Banquet/Catering experience is preferred, though not required.

Pay

$16-$20 per hour

Schedule

12pm-8pm - 5 days a week
