The Cook – Nutritional Services role prepares and serves meals that support patient healing, staff wellness, and cafeteria service, while leading a kitchen team to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality meals across the medical center, following dietary needs and physician's orders.
• Lead and mentor a team of nutritional service staff.
• Maintain the highest standards of kitchen sanitation and meal quality.
• Adapt menu plans to fluctuating resources and needs.
• Creatively reduce waste.
• Ensure smooth operations under stress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrative teams, and other staff.
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in problem‑solving, especially in high‑pressure situations.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience.
