Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control checks to verify that setups meet event specifications, promptly addressing any deficiencies or inconsistencies.
  • Supervise and lead the Conversions team in the setup and teardown of events, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to event layouts and timelines.
  • Cookordinate schedules, assign tasks, and monitor the progress of Conversions Specialists to ensure all work is completed effectively.
  • Review event layouts and work orders, providing clear direction and ensuring team members understand setup requirements.
  • Maintain communication with other departments to ensure collaboration and smooth execution of event operations.
  • Train and mentor Conversions Specialists, promoting adherence to safety standards, processes, and organizational goals.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the stadium and storage areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges related to event setups, equipment, or staffing.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, staff hours, and completed tasks, ensuring thorough documentation of all setups and conversions.
  • Enforce accountability within the team by tracking performance, addressing inefficiencies, and ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Provide regular reports on operational performance, staffing, and any deviations from planned setups, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enforce safety guidelines and best practices, fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching staff to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Ability to foster a positive team culture, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high morale.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and the ability to address team concerns in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Mechanical skills, with working experience in an arena, convention center, or stadium strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in event setups, work orders, and team assignments.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including email, Excel, and Word, with the ability to maintain records and generate reports.
