About the role

We are seeking a Controller for our team to be an innovator. HCA Healthcare partners with Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC to use our data from more than 26 million patient encounters each year to impact the industry.

Responsibilities

• Directs financial activities of the organization.
• Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives and policies for company.
• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Directs preparation of budgets.
• Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
• Arranges for audits of company’s accounts.

Requirements

• Accounting Bachelors Degree
• Recent experience in the hospital field
• CPA preferred

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 467-bed hospital. We are a fully accredited medical surgery hospital. We leverage the latest technologies and treatment protocols to meet healthcare needs.
