Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting functions, including AP, AR, and payroll
• Oversee job costing, AIA billing, subcontract tracking, and WIP reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packets for the Company and its affiliates
• Monitor and manage weekly cash flow
• Serve as a key contact for vendors, customers, IT providers, and insurance carriers
• Coordinate with external accountants and advisors
• Oversee insurance programs, including renewals and certificates of insurance
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required
• Active CPA, preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive accounting experience
• Construction accounting experience including job costing, preparation of WIP schedules, preferred
• Public accounting experience, preferred
• Experience managing and supervising other accounting staff
