Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position focuses on the complete assembly of electrical control boxes and enclosures. Assemblers will start with an empty enclosure and build the finished product by installing electrical components, terminal blocks, wiring, hardware, and other components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical assembly, control panels, wiring, blueprint reading, hand tools, or mechanical assembly. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build electrical control boxes and enclosures from start to finish.
  • Install electrical components, terminal blocks, wiring, connectors, hardware, and other components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Determine proper component placement and installation based on specifications.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and secure components.
  • Cut and prepare mounting rails, hardware, and other materials as required.
  • Route, position, and secure wires and electrical components within control boxes.
  • Verify components and wiring are installed correctly and match the blueprint.
  • Inspect completed control boxes for quality, accuracy, and proper assembly.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, missing components, or quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Meet established production and quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous electrical assembly, control panel assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Experience building electrical control boxes, panels, or enclosures is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
  • Experience working with terminal blocks, wiring, connectors, and electrical components is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Good hand dexterity and ability to work with small components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
