We're seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Commercial Contracts Specialist to support our Corporate Accounts team and broader Commercial organization. Based in our Fort Lee, NJ office, this is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with relevant education looking to build experience in contracts, sales support, and cross-functional business operations. In this role, you'll help facilitate the contract process by partnering with Sales, Finance, and other internal teams to keep agreements moving efficiently from review through execution. This position is designed as an entry-level opportunity, and we are committed to providing training, coaching, and hands-on development to help the right candidate grow their skills and understanding of commercial contracting. You'll be exposed to a wide range of business functions while gaining valuable experience in contract administration, process improvement, reporting, and stakeholder coordination within a fast-paced commercial environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the administration and coordination of customer contracts, including NDAs, master service agreements, and other commercial agreements.
- Assist Corporate Accounts leadership and account managers throughout the contract review and approval process.
- Help track contract revisions, comments, and updates from internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate feedback between Sales, Finance, and other business partners to support timely contract execution.
- Escalate non-standard contract terms to appropriate internal stakeholders for review.
- Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, and key deadlines using CRM and contract management tools.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to contract activity, deal progress, and operational metrics.
- Support contract lifecycle management activities and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and general administrative coordination related to contracting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization within contract workflows.
- Provide occasional support for office operations and workplace activities as needed.
- Assist with onsite events, employee engagement initiatives, and visitor support when required.
- Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or related educational background in business, legal studies, communications, or a similar field.
- Recent graduates and candidates with relevant coursework, internships, or academic experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in contracts, business operations, sales support, or commercial administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM, contract management systems, SAP, or similar business platforms is helpful but not required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and business concepts through on-the-job training.
- Minimal domestic travel may be required.
Additional details
This position is being offered initially as a temporary-to-hire opportunity due to current budget planning. For candidates who demonstrate strong performance and business fit, the role is intended to transition to a regular full-time position in 2027. Comprehensive training and development will be provided to support success in the role. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.
