Contracts Counsel

This is a full-time U.S. remote or hybrid position based in Fort Lauderdale. MASA is looking for a hands-on contracts attorney to manage day-to-day contracting for the company and support the General Counsel as MASA builds out its Legal Department. If you enjoy owning a high volume of agreements independently and want to make an immediate, tangible impact, this role puts you at the center of how MASA gets deals done.

Responsibilities

• Own the full agreement lifecycle: drafting, negotiating, and managing vendor, technology/SaaS, data-processing, licensing, provider/network, consulting, and marketing agreements from intake through signature, repository, and renewal.
• Bring deep healthcare and insurance expertise: advising on HIPAA, Business Associate Agreements, protected health information, privacy, and data security across the contract portfolio.
• Manage risk escalation and support executive decisions, translating contract terms into business exposure, preparing risk analyses and Executive Summaries, and routing matters to the right reviewers and signers.
