It combines emergency management expertise, compassionate guidance, and collaborative solutions to help communities improve disaster outcomes, strengthen preparedness, and build long-term resilience.About the OpportunityThe Contracts Administrator manages the full contract lifecycle, ensuring agreements comply with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements. This role supports strategic growth by strengthening contract processes, maintaining governance standards, and facilitating efficient administration across commercial, government, subcontractor, and vendor agreements.Responsibilities• Administer the contract lifecycle from pre-award through closeout while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial, government, subcontractor, vendor, and other agreements.• Analyze contract terms to identify risks, obligations, milestones, and compliance requirements.• Collaborate with legal counsel and business leaders to address contract issues and resolve concerns.• Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and related files.• Monitor contract performance, milestones, deliverables, and other contractual requirements.• Ensure compliance with applicable procurement regulations and organizational policies.• Review RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, solicitation amendments, and related procurement documents.• Support proposal development by reviewing contract provisions and identifying relevant requirements.• Coordinate execution of NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, and related documents.• Manage certificates of insurance and organizational qualifications.• Develop and maintain contract administration procedures, templates, and best practices.• Provide contract guidance and training to internal teams.• Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance with contractual requirements.• Assist with audits, compliance assessments, and contract-related reporting.• Prepare contract status, compliance, and performance reports.• Support emergency management consulting operations as needed.• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements• Strong knowledge of contract administration and contract lifecycle management.• Ability to review, interpret, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions.• Experience with commercial and government contracting processes.• Understanding of contract risk assessment, compliance, and mitigation strategies.• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and government procurement regulations preferred.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.• Ability to manage multiple contracts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.• Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive contractual information.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Annual salary range of $71,000–$80,000.• Remote work arrangement with up to 25% travel expected.Benefits & Perks• Medical, vision, and dental insurance.• Short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability coverage.• 401(k) plan with company match.• Paid time off, including annual leave, sick leave, and paid parental leave.• Training and professional development opportunities.• Wellness benefits and allowance.• Corporate computer and cell phone allowance.• Paid time off to volunteer.
