Contract Manager - supplier performance management (SPM)

Duration: 6 months Contract - W2 - Required to be onsite 3 days per week (Hybrid). Must Have: Contract negotiation experience + Proficiency in the following software: MicroSoft Office, SAP, Maximo, SRM Job Description: Responsible for business unit supplier performance management (SPM) of medium to large size/value contracts by identifying and maximizing value opportunities.Key Accountabilities:Lead the development of a contract strategy within the business unit/COEDefine contract terms/conditions in accordance with company standards; Manage post award contract activitiesManage vendor performance & compliance; Ensure contract (terms/conditions) compliance; such as enforcing payment terms Modify contract as necessaryEnsure contract close-out, extension or renewal (verify completion of work at close-out)Manage medium and high contracts through the entire life cycleProvide performance metrics report on contract management performance/development & complianceIntervenes, analyzes, manages and resolves business conflicts between the company and vendorsPoint of contact to resolve contractual issues as required; Identify and apply value maximizing opportunities Partner with supply chain management to develop optimal contract termsManage PO specific work efforts (technical and commercial) in accordance with corporate policy Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility, awareness, and interpretation to support implementation. Handle on-going issues and change management documenting appropriatelyInterface with key customer, proactively ensuring contractual compliance and performance; Collaborates with the SCM team to provide guidance on vendor selectionAbility to analyze current processes and make modifications utilizing CI principles; Support structuring of negotiations of contracts; Supports development of SPM value targets and tracks performance to goalsMentors other Contract Managers and supports their work as necessary.Minimum Education & Experience RequirementsAssociate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering or related discipline 5+ years' experience in contract management techniquesPreferred Education:Bachelor's degree Other Requirements Ability to work autonomously Strong project management skills Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with key internal and external stakeholdersExperience leading a team or large project Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills Acute attention to detail Negotiation/influencing skills Proficiency in the following softwareMicroSoft Office, SAP, Maximo, SRM
