Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed
- Conduct routine vital sign checks, reports any changes or concerns to the nursing team, and documents accurately in resident records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent resident outcomes and care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Active & valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) nursing license in Missouri
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Pay & Schedule
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks. Shift: Rotating Weekends. Full-Time Day. Full-Time Night. Pay Rate: LPN $40/hr. RN $45/hr.
Note: This position is intended for local contract Contract Nurse (LPN/RN) candidates. Applicants who live outside of the local area will be responsible for their own housing/lodging and travel-related expenses, including gas and transportation.
