About the Role
Responsible for development, review, and maintenance of contracts according to applicable regulations, policies, and standards. This role ensures contracts comply with legal and organizational requirements, contain accurate terms, and mitigate risk for the System. You will identify potential operational, legal, and financial issues, recommend alternatives, and maintain precise documentation of contractual records.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain contracts that comply with regulations, policies, and standards while ensuring complete and accurate terms to benefit the System by identifying, reducing, shifting, or eliminating risk.
- Notify management of potential operational, legal, and financial issues and recommend alternatives during document development.
- Develop and manage contract template documents and reference materials to assist in generating and reviewing commonly requested agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of contracting reference materials and precise documentation of contractual resolutions for future use.
- Manage all database requirements related to contracts.
- Monitor contract anniversaries for renewal and coordinate renewals with departments, including any recommended or requested renegotiations.
- Provide accurate inventory and filing of current and pending contracts.
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience (a Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (Required).
- Associate's Degree in a related field of study (Preferred).
Pay
A $23.69 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals.
Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week, day shift.
