Contract Administrator II

In this role you will provide professional and administrative Contract Administration services to NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Merritt Island, FL pursuant to standard concepts, practices, and procedures as described within the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Center policy for pre and post-award acquisitions. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Hiring Timeframe: Immediate Work Location: This position is onsite in Merritt Island, FL. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA. What You'll Do Successful candidate will be assigned to support the Seventh Sense Team as a part of the NASA Agency-Wide Acquisition Support Services (AWASS) 2.0 program. We assist our supported KSC Office of Procurement contracting officers and contract specialists with activities providing cradle-to-grave contracting support. Must Haves Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and 4 years of equivalent experience OR a high school diploma and 8 years of equivalent experienceAbility to gain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceMid-level procurement experienceAbility to operate primarily on-site as part of a teamIn depth working knowledge of one or more federal government writing systemsAbility to quickly grasp procurement terms, methodologies, and processes, prepare contract files and associated electronic documentation and create procurement actions (e.g., contract, order, mod) for contract executionKnowledge and skill in researching basic acquisition procedures and requirements in the Federal Acquisition Regulations.Comfortable working with files on a SharePoint SiteThe candidate shall have excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively verballyMust be proficient in MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Adobe Nice To Haves Experience with NASA systems and processes is highly desired; NASA uses SAP, the NASA Contract Management System (NCMS). and NASA Enterprise Acquisition Repository (NEAR)Professional certification in contracting is highly desiredExperience in NASA records management is highly desired Salary Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $48,000 - $58,000 per year. This range reflects factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational needs.
