Continuous Improvement Business Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence and promote a culture of continuous improvement across functional groups but primarily for Supply Chain and Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current process maturity, identify gaps and prioritize areas of opportunity.
Develop and implement quick, visible process improvements with measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize work.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote Lean, Six Sigma methodologies.
Monitor performance metrics to ensure sustained improvements.
Experience deploying Lean methodologies.
Lead or support improvement initiatives using structured project management tools.
Track progress, risks, and deliverables across multiple projects.
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on project outcomes and maturity progress.
Support System Integration.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define ERP requirements for enhancements.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure functional alignment.
Document test cases, results, and feedback for continuous refinement.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure seamless implementation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, ERP implementation or project management.
Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methods to drive improvements.
Experience with Oracle, process mapping, and automation projects (desirable).
Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools like Visio, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or Tableau.
Leading Kaizen events.
Experience managing multiple projects with focus on delivering on time results.
Comfortable working in a hybrid or matrixed organizational structure.
Experience in an internship or co-op environment in a manufacturing or lean environment (preferred).
