About the role

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities through data analysis, Lean manufacturing, project leadership, and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • Lead and support Lean initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, 3P, TPM, and DMAIC projects
  • Conduct time studies and process observations to improve productivity and workflow
  • Analyze manufacturing data and develop recommendations to improve performance
  • Support SQDE boards and daily management systems
  • Monitor customer and employee feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate value stream mapping activities and develop improvement roadmaps
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams and improvement events
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure project effectiveness and sustainability
  • Support new process implementation and change management efforts
  • Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), SOPs, and process documentation
  • Train and mentor employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
  • Work with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to achieve business goals
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Operations, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or a related field
  • Experience leading or supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable coaching employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence change without direct authority
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
  • Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience
  • Experience with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies
  • Power BI, data visualization, or AI experience
  • Project management experience

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience analyzing production and operational data
  • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and performance metrics

Pay

Salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
