Continuing Education Credit Coordinator

About the role

This position is a contracted position through June 30, 2027. It reports to the Primary Prevention Coordinator in the Office of Primary Prevention.

Responsibilities

- Establish Continuing Education Unit protocols for trainings and professional development opportunities sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Health. - Maintain relationships with established CEU providers and submit applications on behalf of various TDH-based departments. - Assess the opportunity for TDH to become an accredited provider for various healthcare-related CEU opportunities in the state of Tennessee. - Manage several projects at one time. - Work with diverse stakeholders and external agency partners.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, other equivalent experience will be considered. - Experience with healthcare-based CEU's, project management, and coordination is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- No public health experience required. - Experience with continuing education unit applications. - Self-starter, team player, strong oral and written communication skills. - Experience with the TRAIN Learning Management System. - Experience working with diverse stakeholders. - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience working with external agency partners.
