Accountabilities
- Manage key areas of client content operations, ensuring high-quality execution of SEO-driven content strategies while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management, editorial judgment, and the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop detailed content briefs, outlines, strategic recommendations, and source guidance to support writers in producing high-performing content.
- Manage content calendars, editorial workflows, timelines, and production schedules across multiple enterprise-level client accounts.
- Edit and optimize long-form content, website copy, and blog materials to align with SEO best practices, brand voice, tone, and client objectives.
- Coordinate with remote writers, editors, and internal teams to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and campaign goals are consistently achieved.
- Conduct competitor research, content gap analysis, and keyword opportunity assessments to identify strategies that improve search performance.
- Lead brainstorming sessions, content ideation, and campaign planning to uncover opportunities for audience growth and engagement.
- Upload, format, and manage content within content management systems while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support reporting efforts by analyzing campaign performance using analytics platforms and SEO tools.
- Collaborate with SEO, client services, and marketing teams to refine strategies and improve campaign outcomes.
- Recommend process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance content production efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- A strong foundation in digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, and client-focused campaign execution.
- Highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and capable of combining creativity with measurable business results.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience leading content marketing campaigns, preferably within a digital marketing agency or technology-focused environment.
- Experience managing SEO-focused content strategies and understanding how content supports the customer journey and sales funnel.
- Strong editorial skills, including proofreading, self-editing, AP style knowledge, and adapting content to different brand voices.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Django, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage editorial calendars, production timelines, and multiple client deliverables simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzSumo, BrightEdge, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns and content initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and the ability to demonstrate measurable content performance improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to propose new ideas, test strategies, and adapt quickly in a high-growth setting.
