Content Marketing Manager
About The Role
The Content Marketing Manager owns the end-to-end strategy, creation, and distribution of high-quality content designed to drive organic traffic, engage technical audiences, and build brand authority. This role focuses on translating complex product concepts into compelling narratives across multiple formats, including deep-dive blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and video scripts. Working closely with product marketing, design, and growth teams, this role ensures all content aligns with key product launches and search engine optimization strategies. The primary goal is to establish the brand as an industry thought leader while maintaining a highly analytical approach to content performance, distribution channels, and funnel conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive editorial calendar aligned with SEO strategies, product launch cycles, and demand-generation campaigns.
- Write, edit, and produce high-impact written content, including long-form guides, technical blog posts, customer case studies, and email newsletter copy.
- Optimize all digital content for search engine visibility using SEO tools, targeting high-intent keywords to scale organic acquisition.
- Analyze and report on content performance metrics using GA4, SEMrush, and HubSpot, monitoring traffic, scroll depth, conversion rates, and pipeline influence.
- Repurpose core content assets into social media posts, short-form video scripts, and presentation decks to maximize distribution efficiency across channels.
- Manage freelance writers and external creative agencies to scale content output while ensuring consistent brand voice, tone, and editorial standards.
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of content marketing experience, preferably within a fast-growing B2B software, SaaS, or technology company.
- Exceptional portfolio of published work showing an ability to explain complex technical concepts to professional and executive audiences.
- Deep familiarity with SEO best practices and hands-on experience using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Search Console.
- Proficiency with modern CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, or Contentful) and marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo.
- Strong project-management skills with a proven track record of managing editorial workflows, editorial calendars, and external contributors under tight deadlines.
- Bonus: Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic HTML/CSS.
