About the role

The Content Marketing Manager owns the content engine for a technology business, translating complex products, technical workflows, and customer problems into clear content that builds demand and supports evaluation. The role connects content strategy to measurable growth across organic search, lifecycle, product marketing, and sales enablement. This position partners with product, SEO, demand generation, sales, and subject-matter experts to turn insights into content that earns attention and moves buyers through the funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the editorial calendar across SEO articles, technical explainers, customer stories, reports, webinars, landing pages, and sales enablement assets
  • Develop content briefs using audience research, keyword data, competitive analysis, and product priorities; manage assignments from intake through publication
  • Write and edit clear, technically accurate content for software, data, cloud, cybersecurity, or related technology audiences
  • Optimize content in a CMS such as WordPress, Contentful, or Webflow using SEO best practices, internal linking, structured metadata, and conversion-focused calls to action
  • Partner with SEO and demand-generation teams to improve rankings, organic traffic, lead quality, engagement, and pipeline contribution using GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar tools
  • Coordinate with product marketing, designers, video teams, and technical subject-matter experts to produce integrated campaign assets and launch content on schedule
  • Measure content performance, maintain reporting dashboards, and use attribution and engagement data to prioritize updates, experiments, and new content investments

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of content marketing, editorial, or demand-generation experience in a B2B or B2C technology environment
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong writing and editing across technical, educational, and conversion-focused content
  • Hands-on experience with SEO research and optimization tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Clearscope, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms, marketing automation, web analytics, and content performance reporting; experience with WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, GA4, and Search Console is preferred
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage freelancers, agencies, subject-matter experts, deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Bonus: Experience with developer, data, cloud, cybersecurity, or SaaS audiences; familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows, webinar production, or Salesforce reporting
