About the role

This position involves reviewing, analyzing, and making credit decisions for various consumer lending products such as personal loans, automobile loans, recreational vehicle loans, and credit cards. The role also includes maintaining credit standards, managing exceptions, communicating decisions to internal members, and evaluating applicants' financial status and credit history.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and render decisions on consumer lending products.
  • Maintain credit standards, policies, and procedures and manage exceptions within acceptable tolerance.
  • Communicate decisions to internal members.
  • Make credit decisions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect dealer partners.
  • Analyze applicants' financial status, credit history, and collateral evaluation.
  • Resolve loan application questions with dealerships and/or loan officers.
  • Refers loan applications exceeding established lending authority to appropriate management levels.
  • Evaluate and document exceptions to guidelines and/or policies.
  • Provide support to team members; collaborate on loan applications and assist in making recommendations.
  • Handle inbound calls and emails regarding loan applications.
  • Evaluate applications for potential sales opportunities to cross sell, up sell, and/or pre-approve additional products and services.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years related or similar financial institution experience.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.

Pay

$28.56-$32.50/hour.

Schedule

The regular schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
