Responsibilities
- Act as a leader and team player within a Scrum Team as the Product Owner.
- Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to ensure the integration of machine learning capabilities into our solutions.
- Architect, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art models to power our conversational AI product suite.
- Design, develop, and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) models to facilitate effective information retrieval and generation in conversational AI systems.
- Utilize vector databases and advanced indexing techniques to efficiently store and retrieve relevant information for conversational contexts.
- Fine-tune and optimize large language models such as Cohere for specific use cases in the technology, Construction & utilities domain.
- Implement and experiment with cutting-edge NLP, NLU, and NLG techniques to enhance the capabilities and performance of our conversational AI products.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct research and stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and conversational AI to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
- Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions, and collaboration).
- Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
- Contribute to evolv’s culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
- Help grow evolv by providing team member/client referrals and connecting with our internal network.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience playing the Product Owner/Product Manager role for a software development team, applying Scrum principles, practices, and methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the Agile framework and principles.
- Experience in launching a new or enhancing technology.
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time alerts, etc.
- Experience with procurement, expense management, and treasury businesses and processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in architecting, developing, and deploying machine learning models, particularly in conversational AI.
- Expertise in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) models and vector databases.
- Experience fine-tuning large language models (e.g., Cohere) for domain-specific use cases.
- Strong background in NLP, NLU, and NLG techniques.
- Ability to integrate machine learning models into production systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
