Consultant Anaesthetist

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general anaesthetic and critical care services
• Enhanced trauma resuscitation service
• Expertise in the resuscitation and stabilisation of neonates and paediatric patients
• Adapt core anaesthetic skills to unpredictable and potentially challenging clinical scenarios

Requirements

• Consultant level qualification in anaesthesia
• Experience in remote healthcare settings
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, person-centred environment

Qualifications

• MBBS degree
• Accredited specialist training in anaesthesia

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills

Pay

Salary Range: £111,430 - £148,064 per annum (pro rata for part-time posts)
